[Deusx 16 (Goddex 16) 12" Stained Glass Mosaic with Brazilian Black/Natural Scenic Agate on solid 3/8" MDF, © Rossana Reis, 2016; an oval-womb shaped agate takes center focus with an a deep red abstract figure behind it with arms stretched and enlaced overhead; an ivory sphere float on each side of this figure in opposite directions connected by a string of metallic gold glass beads (left upward and right downward); caramel tan tesserae fill the remaining background; halved firestone/wine glass gems adorn around the agate and the abstract figure; gold Van Gogh glass tesserae outline this figure, the spheres and border this piece; sporadically accented with millefiori and unified with charcoal sanded grout; agates are known for balancing and harmonizing the mind, body and spirit.]
